Finnish outlet Muropaketti reports that Nvidia-backed startup Starcloud, aiming to build data centers in space, plans to begin mining Bitcoin in orbit this year, with CEO Philip Johnston explaining ASIC miners will be installed on the Starcloud-2 satellite.
