Starcloud signed a commercial payload agreement with Firefly Aerospace (Nasdaq: FLY) to fly its SC-1L AI compute payload aboard Firefly's Elytra spacecraft in lunar orbit, extending Starcloud's earlier low-Earth-orbit AI computing demonstration to a lunar data-center validation mission targeted for no earlier than 2028. News of the deal sent Firefly's stock up roughly 6%.
