Liquid AI released LFM3, a family of six open-weight models (text, vision, audio, omni, and two decision models) built on a shared 1.7B-parameter 'tri-hybrid' backbone, claiming a 12.7x agentic-benchmark gain over its predecessor while fitting in about 1GB of memory for on-device use on phones and laptops.
