Mercor

An investigation originally published by 404 Media (syndicated internationally by outlets including Computerworld, vc.ru, Golem.de, Cryptoast and Punto Informatico) revealed that OpenAI employs hundreds of contractors to read and rate real ChatGPT conversations under an internal program called 'Project Lily.' The reporting names Mercor as the AI-training firm through which some of these reviewers are supplied and paid, working alongside a recruiting agency called Crossing Hurdles.
