404 Media reported that multiple contractors working on OpenAI-related model-evaluation projects were fired or removed for using AI tools in work meant to supply human judgment; two of the contractors interviewed worked through Mercor, whose spokesperson confirmed contracts prohibit LLM use and that violations lead to removal from a project.
